Just next to Java, it is a perfect place to sip you Martini’s. The crowd here is a little different. They get sleek and suited booted crowd-unlike the ones you see in bars and pubs in Thamel. The biggest plus point of the J Bar is the selection and range of alcohol available - definitely at a price though! They have big comfortable couches with nice wooden tables. The place is not that big though- it will fit in not more than 50. The menu is pricey but worth the money and the music is regular-thy generally play latest and hip song. They have a big parking and an ATM machine just below. J Bar is meant for those on the larger side of life and is a touch of sophistication in Thamel night life. Location wise I would say YES but not a budget friendly place though.

J Bar is so 2000.... its time they either upgraded their service and interior or just turn it into a section of Himalayan Java.

I was here at New Year's Eve... It was just right crowded. I loved the way the bar tender was pouring the drinks in some fancy style
